What’s your Definition of Success?
Written by Tevin on October 20, 2007 – 10:15 am -I throw around the term “Success” quite often, and quite liberally.
And probably use it (probably unrightfully so) quite definitively. Because “Success” is such a broad word that means so many things to so many people.
The definition I would give for success is probably quite different than the definition you would give.
But we MUST form it in our mind. We must give it a verbal definition. But so many people I have talked to, have not.
If we have not defined success for ourselves. Then how are we ever supposed to know we’ve achieved it?
My definition for success is simple:
“Always continuing to improve my knowledge and abilities to better my financial, and personal life.”
What is yours?

Without Passion. What’s the point?
Written by Tevin on October 19, 2007 – 6:41 pm -As I try to build this blog there are several things I’m realizing:
I know NOTHING about blogging.
I know NOTHING on how to build a blog audience.
Being interesting, informative AND entertaining all at the same time, isn’t always as easy as it sounds.
But there are many other positive things I am noticing:
I have a passion for not only learning and trying to build this project, but also finding the key to helping inspire and motivate others who are in a similar situation as me. People who have fantastic POTENTIAL, but are having trouble tapping that potential because they are procrastinators, “putter-offers“. Or the people that can TASTE success. They just can’t quite figure it out, and are getting discouraged.
I commit with this blog to not only, CHANGE MYSELF, but give you the tools and secrets to bring about the change and desire to succeed in you as well.
Your first step to bring ULTIMATE SUCCESS. Join the B2M Bookclub. Membership is simple, just commit to reading at least 1 hour per day. What you read is not as important so much is THAT you read, and what you read will directly help you move forward and bring about success.
I have started with reading Think and Grow Rich you can download your own copy from that link and begin reading it too. If you have not read it at least a Dozen times. I suggest you read it along with me.
Monday I will begin discussion on it, and the impact it’s had on me and my outlook on success.

A Thank You to Did You Smell That
Written by Tevin on October 17, 2007 – 7:48 pm -Yesterday, just after my last post I listened to an interview by Mr. Fire. Joe Vitale.
He spoke with a very successful blogger David LeDeoux, about his blog www.DidYouSmellThat.com
I’m a new reader to his blog. And it’s fascinating. And if you’re just getting into blogging yourself. I suggest you check it out.
This page in particular really is amazing:

Tivo This: The Big Idea
Written by Tevin on October 17, 2007 – 2:48 am -As I’m sitting writing my previous blog. I have on in the background:
The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch
It’s a MUST WATCH for any entrepreneur. This is my first experience with the show (rarely home at this hour to see things on). Yes it’s brief. But the message is GREAT:
- Think beyond the normal.
- Don’t do something because that’s the way it’s always been done.
- Do the unexpected
- Break the rules of “normalcy”
If you have a DVR. Record it. Set your VCR. Download it. I don’t care how you do it. Just watch it. Check your local listings.

My Life Story of Failure… And How I’m Turning it Into Success
Written by Tevin on October 17, 2007 – 2:33 am -This is going to be a very deep and personal entry. It is really going to explaining how B2M Dot Com came to exist. And why success from inspiration is inevitable. And failure is impossible.
This is not a personal touch you’d get from most “professional” bloggers. But it’s esential to the understanding of B2M–why I know that if I can go from FLAT BROKE to MILLIONAIRE in 48 Short Months. I can also inspire and motivate others to do the same.
Because you hear from the ultra-successful always so often the same ‘ole song and dance: “I was broke. Now I’m rich. If I can do it. So can you.”
I’m paraphrasing of course. But the message is essentially the same. No one has ever been so bold as to have the foresight of financial and personal success, and then give a step-by-step, play-by-play of what it takes to get there. Before success has even happened… until Me.
My Name is Tevin Anderson I’m 21 years old, and I used to be a loser.
You see I grew up looking for the “Big (Easy) Score”. The opportunity to make money FAST. The thought of working for a boss day in and day out to make the same amount of money every week, never appealed to me. Where’s the fun? Where’s the excitement?
My Dad, and lifelong entrepreneur, always encouraged this way of thinking. And I’m GREATFULL HE DID! Because I always have and always will truly believe the only way to make true money in this world, and to make a difference in it. You CANNOT work under someone else. You MUST be your own boss. You MUST be self-motivated. And you MUST take action.
But growing up, I kind of misunderstood this formula a bit. Because I somehow managed to convince myself that if I just wanted money enough, it would just fall in my lap.
“I don’t need to study for this test. I’m a smart kid.”, “I don’t need to get a job… I’m worth more than $7.15 an hour!”, “People will give me their money, just because I’m here.”
I went through this pattern for many, MANY years. I didn’t study hard in school. I didn’t do “homework” because I “knew it” already. At least enough to get a B- or C+. “What’s the point in homework, if I can pass without it???”. I didn’t get a *real* job.
Where I began to go wrong:
When I was 16, I became a “professional” Magician. (A pretty good one I would say.) I would make between $120, and $180 for a 40 minute birthday party magic show. Easy Money!
I was able to pick up other odds and ends jobs that (at the time) paid enough to give me enough play money, without really putting in any hard work. I was probably making more than my friends that were putting in HOURS every months at a part time job.
I would come home after school and read my dad’s Dan Kennedy Newsletter. Or a copy writing course. Or a business opportunity letter. After a few reading sessions, I was a GENIUS. I knew everything I needed to know to make a fortune with direct mail or Internet stuff! (Hindsight sarcasm wanted.
)
I was able to convince my Dad to fork over the cash for a number of “Get Rich Quick Overnight With Little to No Effort” schemes. None of which ever amounted to anything. But I just thought, “I can get rich quick!”.
I created websites. Adwords affiliate links. I tried to make money by creating a course on how to make money on the internet. (HA!) Online estores. MLM. BLARGH!
But my lack of action, and procrastination was detrimental to any success I could have had! I would read. I would start. I would abandon.
I had more great ideas, and started projects than I could even keep track of! The grass was always greener with my next opportunity.
Not making ANYTHING. Just before my 18th Birthday I found POKER…
Ahh…. THAT’S the way to Get Rich Quick!
The guys on TV make millions, and live a lifestyle unlike any other!
(Probably) Needless to say, I got hooked. I got hooked in the action. The gambling. And the Poker. The allure of getting rich, and doing it easily roped me in.
Over the next three years it would do alot of harm to my production of other things–things that actually made money. And my bank account.
During my poker playing days, my best friend (who was doing quite well financially over the short term) got me into the Mortgage Business–just about a year and a half ago. I got a good job, with a pretty good salary with great potential for Commissions. I even had a GREAT month September 2006 pushing close to $10,00 before taxes. Not bad considering I was only in my 3rd month in the industry.
However, being the person that doesn’t want to work for others, and sees all the holes, and problems of this (admittedly scammy) company. I went on my own with the same friend that got me the job in the first place. We started our own company. Good idea… bad timing… (and most likely bad execution… the errors made there are a whole ‘nother story)
The mortgage industry simultaneously begins it’s steady slide into the mess it’s in today. And since I was almost entirely in the “subprime” mortgage portion. My amount of funded loans and commissions steadily went down. While my credit card debt and poker losses mounted.
I moved out of my place. Moved back home with my parents. I spent several months frustrated with myself. Disappointed in myself. Disappointed with my decisions. My actions (or inactions). I was even close to even feeling SORRY for myself.
Which brings us to a couple of weeks ago. I finally came to the realization: I see myself being successful. I see myself being self-motivated. I see myself being responsible and intelligent.
But then I realized. I CAN SEE MYSELF THERE! BUT I’M NOT THERE.
“Why?” I asked myself. And as soon as I ask the answer is completely evident. Currently:
I’m not “successful”. I’m not being self-motivated. Gambling is preventing me from being responsible and intelligent!
Once I finally took control of this reality. Things INSTANTANIOUSLY CHANGED.
I made the decision:
I WILL NOT CONTINUE TO LIVE MY LIFE THE WAY I’M CURRENTLY AM. OTHERWISE I’LL BE IN A GUTTER ONE DAY!!!!! THIS CHANGES NOW!
At that moment. I began to turn my life in the RIGHT DIRECTION. I quit gambling and poker. FOR GOOD. I’m going to instead focus those efforts on a simple and obtainable objective:
Go from broke (in every sense of the word) to a millionaire in FOUR YEARS.
Yes it is a tall order. But I can, and I WILL achieve it. And over the next 48 months you will witness it first hand–and hopefully you’ll join me.
This is the most important point in my life so far, admitting to myself: There is no reason that I can’t begin change TODAY. Why wait until tomorrow? Begin now.So I challenge you:
If you, like me, see potential in yourself but just CAN’T SEEM TO TAP INTO IT. Decide. Decide that today is the day you Start. Start going for your dreams. Start reaching your potential. Start looking forward and NOT looking at your past.
Decide that TODAY is where you begin. Then make one small obtainable goal, and build on it. I started by telling myself I’ll read at least 1 hour a night. And I’ve started with Think and Grow Rich.

Build It, and They Will Come…
Written by Tevin on October 14, 2007 – 11:22 pm -… Well not really.
Unfortunately, through my several different only money-making online projects, this Field of Dreams quote doesn’t ring quite true when it comes to websites.
Because even though, now I have a domain, and blog, and now two blog posts; this doesn’t mean anyone is ever going to find this blog and then actually read it!
As of this writing, I am likely the only person to have actually seen my blog!
So in addition to reading an hour a night, of Think and Grow Rich (right click save-as to grab your own copy) for the last two nights since my initial blog post. I have also been reading up on Blog promotion techniques. Being a complete blog newbie, all this talk off RSS was off the charts. But slowly but surely, doing some research on Wordpress.org and wordpress.com I found some answers.
Then through Yanik Silver’s blog, I ran across John Reese’s (an Internet marketing genius) blog at Income.com. He has developed a widget called BlogRush, a great networking widget that drives traffic to ACTUALLY WORTHWHILE BLOGS. Each blog on the BlogRush network is actually approved by a real person. Keep spam, and worthless blogs out of the loop.
I applied to have a BlogRush widget put on my page, but chances are good that I’ll initially be denied becuase my blog is so “new”.
But rest assured in the next few days, I will have an RSS subscription option (and an email update option) available to all of my future loyal readers.
THE REASON I SHARE ALL OF THIS “BEHIND THE SCENES” INFORMATION WITH YOU
Now, I understand that most bloggers don’t talk about what they do before they do it. They just DO IT. Especially when it comes to blogging about their blog. Which in and of it self would be utterly pointless.
HOWEVER
This blog is not about me teaching you.
This blog is about doing what it takes to become successful, and the steps taken in order to get there. Not every step of the way is going to be glamorous and entertaining.
On Another Development Note:
I will be adding my “Reading List” to the Sidebar, and Also my “Completed Library” after that.
My Reading List will be the book(s) that I’m currently reading, and will read for at least 1 hour a day, everyday.
My “Completed Library” will be the list of books that I have completed since the beginning of this blog.
Also I have added InternetLifestyle.com and Income.com to the list of blogs I read. These are fantastic reads by some incredible self-made internet millionaires. They are my mentors and role-models. I suggest you take at least a few moments a week and follow what they are doing.
Upcoming Entries This Week Include
Who I Am, And Why I’ll Never Be Him Again (The story of my *lazy* past. And why I will never go back there.)
The Process of Personal Evolution
Happy Sunday and have a GREAT WEEK Everyone!

Greatness Begins Here
Written by Tevin on October 13, 2007 – 12:19 am -This is the beginning of greatness. This blog will serve many purposes. But there are two major objectives I would like to accomplish with this site and blog.
This first is to simply aide in my personal, and financial growth–by holding me accountable to regular and progressive (and entertaining and informative) updates.
I will be sharing my stories of where I am (broke), how I got here; to where I will be going, by sharing EXACTLY what I have done, am doing, and will do over the next 48 months to become a millionaire.
During this process of my personal transformation, I also to help inspire, inform, and motivate my readers to accomplish greatness along side me.
The idea is simple: Lead by example.
The journey and the outcome will not be.
This site also starts out simple and bare. It will continue to grow and evolve as I do.
As WE do.
As I write this I have no readers. No subscribers. No customers. And no money.
This will change. And rapidly. Due to one common theme:
MASSIVE ACTION
Because nothing great can ever, or will ever be accomplished without Massive Action. Not just fiddling with one idea. Tinkering. Playing. Changing. NO! You must make a plan and take one step after the other after the other after the other. And NOT give up until success is achieved.
Over the next several days. I will be updating not only with regular blog posts. But also updating the sidebar on the left with Inspirations & Motivators, other great blogs, and recommended reading.
Which brings me to what I am going to do to take action. I commit to reading at least 1 hour a day, everyday, of something informative, inspirational, or educational. I am going to start with:
Think and Grow Rich (<-right click save-as to download your own copy) by Napoleon Hill

- A shameless promotional tool for internet scams or business opportunities
- MLM marketing
- Boring
- Plagued with advertising
- A list builder for spam
- Filled with old and outdated information to turn a profit
- Written by a character based on hyperbole or someone fake. (What is written on these pages will be blatantly me. Possilbly even to a fault sometimes.)
- Written by someone who talks the talk but doesn’t walk the walk
- A vehicle to make money by selling information on “How to Sell Information on the Internet to Make Money” (that’s been done by people much greater than I)
I will not be doing any of that! But that’s not to say that if on occasion I come across a resource I find valuable that I won’t post an affiliate link to it. I may very well do exactly that. But my objective is not to peddle useless products to turn a profit in this blog. But to provide true value, by taking you step by step through my Journey.
That is also not to say that I will NEVER place an ad on the site/blog. If I begin to generate enough traffic I may put up a targeted banner, or a small “classified” on the side bar. But that BS where the page is cluttered from top to bottom with ads cutting up the content.
NO THANKS!
So that’s it for now. Feel free to bookmark and checkback often. I will soon have an opt-in list to give you a quick email update when there is a new blog post. Have a great weekend! And feel free to post your ideas, and thoughts in the comments section.
