Controversy Strikes Again!
Written by Tevin on January 9, 2008 – 8:06 pm -Yesterday was a controversial topic for many readers.
The Success Attitude - What 90% of people DON’T HAVE! discussed how responding positively to others AND to yourself will set you up for success.
Now, don’t get me wrong. I am not saying, BECAUSE you are positive you are going to be successful.
As Stephan Miller from http://www.stephanmiller.com/ comments:
“But I have seen some people take this too far. They think they positivity is all it takes. It takes some work also.”
This is a great point. I would elaborate say that it takes more than “some” work. It takes TONS of work to become a huge financial success. But you are nearly dead from the start if you allow yourself to be negative, and overrun by your emotions.
Today I am going to tell you EXACTLY how you can begin to TAKE CONTROL your emotions so that, you litteraly CHOOSE YOUR MOOD no matter what’s going on in your life.
Many people feel their emotions are something of a subconscious reaction to things. Something your predisposed to, and you have little to no control over.
But the fact is, this is COMPLETELY FALSE. You in fact (in nearly every occasion) have TOTAL control over your emotions, and how you let them effect you.
(But first let me break this down, so I’m not misunderstood. I think we can agree there are certain times of tragedy, or other significant events in our lives, that warrant depression, mourning, or melancholy, and similar emotions. These are not the emotions I’m referring to control. I do not mean to be insensitive.)
Your emotions are like a camera.
Because just like a camera, your emotions can only focus in on any one thing at a time. For instance, it is nearly impossible to be furious with anger, and yet be still feel joyous enough to be overcome with laughter. And in the event that you are overcome with laughter, you are no longer furious.
And understanding that your emotions work this way, you can learn to begin to control them. As I have. You can begin to choose your mood. No matter what’s going on in your life, or going on around you.
Let me tell you a personal story. This was me just about 3 years ago, right after I graduated high school:
I used to spend days on end, feeling sorry for myself. Being an emotional wreck. Depressed.
I was totally ambivalent to the world around me. I just didn’t care anymore. People came, people went. I stopped paying attention. “My life sucks” I would think.
I was paralyzed with depression.
Then one day. Everything changed. I immediately felt fantastic. I felt thrilled. Upbeat. I had my humor back. People were laughing around me, people enjoyed being around me. I was ME again.
How? I made a decision.
In all of my introspection, I realized that I was depressed, about being depressed! Sure there were things I could point out if asked “why the long face”.
- I hate school. I have no purpose here.
- I hate my job. This isn’t what I want to do.
- I’m broke because I gamble too much.
- I can’t find a girl to save my soul, I must be undateable, unattractive, unappealing, etc.
- I’m not good at anything
- I just don’t feel good
- I’m not active anymore
- blahblahblah I feel sorry for myself blahblahblah
You see, just like a camera can only focus on any on thing at any one time. I was only focusing on all the supposedly depressing things in my life.
I realized, even while I was depressed that I was not in a productive state of mind. So I made a decision, at that very moment. That I had no good damn reason to be depressed. Look at all the things I have to be thankful for!
- I get to find out my purpose in an environment that lets me try new things.
- My job is only temporary, and I still have money to do the things I love to do with the people I love to do them with.
- I can quit gambling, at any point it time. Problem solved.
- Single is better!
- I’m great at a lot of things. And I’m only getting better!
- “I think I’ll go for a run”
- Life is freaking great.
I began to focus on different sides of the exact things that were depressing me. And by forcing myself to look at all the positives in my life, I realized there is no use being depressed, if I didn’t like something, I have the opportunity to change. To improve.
Now I never will get depressed for more than a few hours. And as soon as I realize that I am “feeling sorry for myself” I am able to snap out of it. Because I just force myself to focus on the many great things I have going. I force myself to smile. It’s nearly impossible to be depressed if you’re smiling. Eventually you realize the limitless opportunity, if you indeed just focus on it.
Actively choosing exactly what to focus your emotions on is just one of many tactics I use. I urge you to at least try, and let me know your results. I’ll be letting you in on a few more of my “brain secrets” over the coming weeks.
Cheers Everyone!

The Success Attitude - What 90% of people DON’T HAVE!
Written by Tevin on January 8, 2008 – 1:00 am -So you want to be successful? But do you have the attitude that is ABSOLUTELY NECCESARY to have to become a huge success? 90% of you don’t have it, and have no chance of success. Are you in the 10%?
*Keeping mind that 84% of all statistics are made up on the spot. * 90% of people that “want” to be successful in their endeavors are DOOMED from the word “ready” (forget set, go. They’re not even close).
Why?
I’ll explain why in just a second but first let me ask you a question, and I want you to read it OUT LOUD and answer OUT LOUD (as if you are actually talking to me). Worried that someone around you might think you’re crazy? News Flash: They already do. And they’re probably are right… Nevertheless. Answer this:
How are you doing today?
Did you answer out loud? Good! Now what did you say?
There are two classes of answers. And the way you answer is going to play a HUGE part on your overall success. Shocking? Let me explain.
Answer Group #1 The Doomed To Succeed. These people answer with responses like:
- “I’m ok”
- “Fine”
- “Gettin’ By”
- “Makin’ It”
- “Eh, pretty good”
- “Oh, you know how it is…”
- “*exasperated sigh* You wouldn’t BELIEVE the day I’m having”
Answer Group #2 The “Primed For Success” Answers. The people that are open to succeding answer with responses such as:
- “I’m GREAT!”
- “I’m doing fantastic.”
- “Wonderful”
- “*excited tone* You wouldn’t Believe me if I told you!”
- “Terrific”
“Ahhh… Yes, but Tevin this has nothing to do with Success, this is just the way people respond based on their mood” I hear the voices in my head reply (I never said you were the only crazy one…).
For 90% of people, they answer this question based on “how they feel”, for the most part they answer “honestly”. But for the 10% that understand the weight of the question, they do not base their reply on how they “feel” at that exact moment. NO! Instead the ALWAYS reply with an enthusiastic delighted tone.
“Ohhhhh…. I still don’t get it”
You see the weight of this question is goes beyond just a cordial greeting. Sure responding with an enthusiastic delighted tone you won’t come off as an ass-ly curmudgeon. But it’s much more important than this. When you reply to this question with real words. When you say it out loud, you are CONDITIONING your mind to your true emotion.
What does this mean?
Basically, you can only feel one strong emotion at any one time. If you are laughing hystarically, it’s nearly impossible for you to feel depressed. If you’re crying out of depression, it’s nearly impossible for you to feel the euphoria of happiness.
So when you respond “I’m ok.” Your brain will literally make you feel just “ok”.
But even if you are having the WORST day of your life, and you force yourself to put on a huge goofy grin, and say, “You know I’m having a great day.” And you say it with enthusiasm, you act as though you mean it. Guess what, your brain will eventually begin to believe you. If you say it enough, you will feel it.
You will find that speaking positively ALL OF THE TIME will greatly increase your mood, level your emotions, and make you hugely more productive and successful.
How Do I Practice This In My Everyday Life?
I concentrate on speaking ONLY in positives. When someone asks me “how are you doing”. I always respond enthusiastically no matter how I’m REALLY feeling. Because even after my response, I feel better already.
For example:
I know that my goal is to become a MILLIONAIRE in 48 months (starting October 13th 2006). There are plenty of NON BELIEVERS. I am not one of them. There is NO DOUBT in my mind that I will become a millionaire in 48 months. I am positive of that fact.
Are you positive that you’re positive?

Blogging To The Bank + 100 EC Bonus Credits
Written by Tevin on January 7, 2008 – 3:56 pm -Ok I’ve purchased all kinds of eBooks in the past on “making money online”…
I got most of these in my teens. Things from using usEstore to all kinds of weird things throughout the years. Some of my favorite were The Rich Jerk (just because it was damn entertaining to read… not because it made me money LOL!), and a few products by Yanik Silver (www.internetlifestyle.com).
But for the most part, they’re scams (as I’m sure Can’t Get Rich will tell you.)! They’re mostly outdated, BS information that is all but useless. It might have worked as early as 6 months ago… but not so much anymore. Which is why they’re selling the info!
But I just ran across this product. Maybe it’s the same stuff… but who knows. It is v2.0
Claims to teach how to “make money blogging”. It’s not a huge investment by any means $49 is not too much even if it has nothing (and I suppose I could ask for a refund as it’s 100% guaranteed, it it is totally worthless). So really there is no risk.
And as I’m fed up with all the so called “A-list Bloggers” and their reviews and lack of any real information of “make money online”. Blogging To The Bank might just be worth the investment.
I just wanted to know if any of you have tried it? Have you heard of it? Any reviews? Thoughts?
Since there is a money back guarantee I think I’ll pick it up tonight. I’ll give you my thoughts on it.

Using Entrecard to Increase Adsense Revenue
Written by Tevin on January 4, 2008 – 12:02 pm -Can you actually utilize Entrecard to increase your adsense revenue and overall CTR of your ads?
YES! Let me share with you a very profitable secret you can implement TODAY to increase your overall income on your blog.
I’ve made an interesting discovery that I thought I’d share with all of you.
It’s a very simple way to increase your Adsense revenue using Entrecard users. I’ve increased my Adsense CTR to over 1% on my adsense ads on this blog on my Entrecard Channel.
How can this possibly be done?
It’s quite simple really. I’ve placed a 125×125 text ad button just bellow the “drop yours” button on my Entrecard unit. Because this blog is listed under the “Make Money Online” section of Entrecard, and the ads are usually of “make money online” nature. These ads are appealing to the Entrecard Droppers.
ALSO
Because of Link Droppers (the people the click from one Entrecard to the other top drop their cards) nature to be clicking mindlessly across dozens if not hundreds of blogs in a row, I probably get the accidental click here and there because it’s so near the “drop yours” button.
I’m very happy with the success of this adsense implementation. If you’re an Entrecarder, I suggest you test this out and see if your results are the same.

This Will Blow Your Mind, Guaranteed!
Written by Tevin on January 2, 2008 – 12:05 pm -This is a man who knows EXACTLY what he is doing. Take a few minutes (9) to watch this clip. Then I’ll discuss why it’s important.
This is Joel Bauer. A Magician… a Perceptionist, rather. note: Perceptionist is just a self-proclaimed title to set himself apart from other magicians. But through years of performing on stage he has become a master of speaking, and master of the English language, and Neuro-Linguistic Programming.
I’ve known of Joel for several years now, and have had the pleasure to see him in action on a couple of occasions now. He is truly a Wonder to observe. He grabs his audience’s attention, and doesn’t give it back until they pull out there wallets to him tons of money.
Why Is Joel Bauer Important?
The first time I saw Joel in action he spoke for 2 days at a “Nothing To Buy” seminar for Mortgage Brokers. There were about 50 or so in the room, and at the end of the “Nothing To Buy” seminar of information on how to be a better marketer of mortgage brokering, about 30 of whom decided they would “enroll” in their $18,000 a year program. He had a 60+% conversion rate for an $18,000/year program.
The next time I saw him draw HUGE crowds at a hum-drum Mortgage Broker Trade Show (NAMB). He literally can stop people in their tracks with his words alone, and draws them in huge numbers to his Client’s booths.
I have also heard rumors of him speaking from the platform and selling $3M worth of product. Yes. $3,000,000 in product from one speech from the platform.
After I’ve talked with him 1-on-1, seen him in person. Shook his hand. This is what I’ve learned from Joel Bauer.
Image is everything.
People judge you on everything. You appearance, your haircut, your business card, your voice, the words you choose, the tone you use, the cadence in which you speak. People are constantly sizing you up, processing whether you are interesting or boring. Knowledgeable or Dumb. Revolutionary or a copy cat.
The more prepared you are with the words you choose, the clothes you wears, the promotional materials you use, the more “lucky” you are going to become.
Luck = Opportunity + Preparation

Now The Hangover is Gone. Lets Make Some Cash.
Written by Tevin on January 2, 2008 – 1:41 am -We’re back. I’m fully recovered, I’m in the full swing of things ready to make a s***load of money in 2008. Here’s what we’re looking forward to THIS MONTH:
I have several offers, and networks on tap to promote in affiliate marketing. I’ll be posting my results as the week progresses. It shall be interesting and exciting to see what unfolds.
I was happy to see even though my posting schedule was put on pause. My traffic did not take a huge dip.
I am going to be making more money in the sentient-world of “real” people. I am going to be expanding the number of restaurants I am performing in on a weekly basis. And there is a chance that I start a new sales job with a great starting salary toward the end of the month (which money I will use to continue to pay down my mountains of credit card debt) *that is if I don’t hit it BIG TIME with affiliate marketing before hand*.
A REVOLUTIONARY NEW SYSTEM for making money with blogs. I think everyone is going to LOVE what I have ready to unleash this month. It will help generate a modest income for the site, and help increase traffic to other sites.
Finally I am going to be revealing secrets to help YOU become more productive and profitable.
So if you are new. Welcome! Subscribe to the RSS you’re not gonna want to miss this month on B2M.
