		<description>Tevin,

As you proced on your journey to success consider the following:

You say that all you've met with to this time is rejection. I doubt that this is reality. I am confident that along with the actual rejection comments you have also gotten check back later situations.

Remember cold calling isn't just a win or lose situation. Often it just a degree of win. Like being a hitter in baseball of dating a hit can be a single, a home run or something in between.

If you get info about the company or even just the name of the decision maker you've at least gotten to first base. It's the follow-up that will get you around the bases. You don't have to swing for the fences on every call. (How the hell did I get stuck in a sports metaphor? I don't even watch sports.)

Now...TRY THIS...

I want to sit back, relax and close your eyes. Visualize how you felt when the Red Robin manager said "Yes". How were you breathing. What were you thinking. Recall the feeling of power and accomplishment it gave you. Dwell in those feelings and commit them to memory.

The next time you go in for a cold call...just before you go in...Bring back that memory and feel those feelings then go in with that sense of power and self worth. Remember...even though they don't know it yet, they need you more than you need them. You have the key to solve their problems. All you need is a toehold. A tiny crack. You can then keep working it until you get to your goal.
