So there is tons going on now.

First off, let me announce my first reliable source of affiliate income.

I am using affiliate polls. And they are doing great! If you don’t know what they are let me give you a brief explanation:

You place a “pop culture” poll up as your landing page (E.G. Choose between A or B, What is Better C or D?). At first  Ithought this was the DUMBEST idea to make money than I had ever seen. When in fact, I tried it and INSTANTLY started making money with the technique.

Then I came across an INCREDIBLE Affiliate Marketing Tool (Affiliate Marketing Software). It’s called The Poll Factory and basically what it allows you to do is create polls in rediculously short periods of time (I get mine set up in like 8-10 minutes!). It creates a tested and proven landing page polls that moves your visitors from your poll page to your CPA offer so you can convert quick and easy!

I absolutely love the software, it’s given me my first REAL success in affiliate marketing. And you can pick it up to. I personally know the guy that developed the software Eric Mitz and it’s good stuff. Check it out.

Ok… so I didn’t do much SEO. But I did want to try an experiement.

I’ve never went for the “natural” traffic route for the blog. I used social networking, like SU, EC, EIEIO, and other acornyms.

But I never chose a keyword for a post, and tried to rank for it. Yesterday was my first attempt at that, I posted a blog about Stumbleupon DoFollow . One of my main intents for the entire post was to see if I could get that post listed in google for the search term “Stumbleupon DoFollow”. Sure enough, I look today, and I’m position 1.

It even sent 4 visitors to my blog today alone. A massive success. Not at all. It’s not my intention to grow this blog to epic preportions at the moment. I’m just using it to figure out exactly how to get ranked for a chosen term. And I’m learning a little more everyday.

I have a couple more tricks up my sleeve that I want to try soon with SEO to my affiliate programs that will actually make money.

Until then, I’m going to keep link building, keep testing and keep trying. Lets see what happens.

Maybe if I start getting enough natural search traffic, I’ll place a little adsense on this blog strickly for search traffic. Grizz says he’s making $100 a day from his blogger blog on make money online. If I can get 1/10th of Grizz’s search traffic and adsense revenue. I would be a very happy man.

The last 2 days I have been giving myself a power push. I haven’t been 100% healthy. In fact, this morning I woke up feel down right terrible.

I called into work. Pulled up my laptop, and got to work.

I’ve started work on buying some new domains. I just grabbed myself a really generic .info domain that I could add to my hostgator account so I could have a place to put all my crazy new affiliate ideas to test.

With the new B2M look and feel comes a few changes. Notably some free traffic efforts, and monetization efforts.

As you may have noticed I implemented some *hopefully* unobtrusive Adsense ads, Entrecard, and Blogrush.

I jumped on the Entrecard bandwagon just a couple days ago. It’s billed as the “Business Card 2.0″ and is said will generate free traffic… we’ll see. So far it’s gotten some attention, so far it looks promising lets see if it leads to long term readers.

BLOGRUSH - I’ve had the blogrush widget running for a few weeks now, and have gotten exactly one visitor. Not exactly a “rush” I’m not exactly sure it’s quite worth it. But I’ll continue to run it for a few more weeks, and concentrating on writing more “Get Noticed” titles.
